Biotic Signs Agreement with Major F&B Corporation

Updated: Jun 23, 2021

Biotic signs agreement to collaborate with a 'Fortune 500' Food & Beverage corporation, to develop a fully bio-based, fully biodegradable polymer for their food packaging needs.

Biotic envisions a world where plastic pollution is no longer a concern and in which the consumer purchases and uses the product in the exact same manner, and after use, tosses it to any trash, and the product fully biodegrades no matter to the environment.

Biotic provides an end to end, fully bio-based, fully biodegradable polymer(s) manufacturing process. Enabling optimal transition from fossil-fuel-plastics, with a scalable, fully biological, environmentally friendly process, eliminating recycling needs, contributing towards reducing greenhouse gases emission, with a zero waste and circular economy approach.

This collaboration combines the corporate expertise in development, production and in-kind services, with Biotic’s proprietary polymers, technologies, and industrial expertise.

Biotic’s technologies effectively provide unified solutions for today’s plastic alternatives' biggest holdbacks. As a commodity manufacturer, we are developing a complete supply-chain to produce various polymers, capable of fulfilling global plastic demand.

This partnership will enable the F&B corporation to further accelerate the development towards seamlessly replacing their current food packaging wraps, with fully bio-based and fully biodegradable alternatives, in a cost-effective manner, and favorable environmental footprint.

“Partnering with one of the largest food & beverage manufacturers, producing a significant amount of plastic packaging – is a huge milestone for Biotic,” Biotic CEO and Co-founder Adi Goldman said. “Conducting in-line testing with industry leaders in the future will expedite the introduction of Biotic’s products to market, enabling a seamless transition to our polymer(s) - an optimal plastic alternative. This new partnership is a major step towards introducing the next generation of fully bio-based, and 100% biodegradable polymer-based products that draw on the benefits of our novel technologies.”
